Objectives: This course will educate participants on an employer’s obligations under the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act to help facilitate the creation of compliant policies and practices within the workplace.

Human Resources professionals, managers, and directors
Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
Understand the requirements of the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, including what accommodations may be reasonable;
Create appropriate training materials for front-line supervisors and managers;
Create and implement a compliant policy that works for the business; and
Manage complex leave situations that involve the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act alone or in combination with the Family and Medical Leave Act and/or Americans with Disabilities Act.
